The Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) was established in accordance with the Paris Principles to promote and protect human rights across Liberia. We are an independent constitutional body committed to ensuring that the rights of all persons in Liberia are respected, protected, and fulfilled.
Our mandate spans civil and political rights as well as economic, social, and cultural rights. Through monitoring, investigation, education, and advocacy, we hold duty-bearers accountable and empower rights-holders.
